Thank you for supporting SUDEP Action Day

Support needed for Safety and Risk Resources
Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP)

Many people have never heard of SUDEP until it happens to a loved one. Up to half of all epilepsy related deaths are due to SUDEP with the cause still unknown.

Knowing the risk factors and putting a plan in place to reduce those risks with a health care professional is key to prevention.

Epilepsy Action Australia needs support to help fund the ongoing development and distribution of vital safety and risk resources for SUDEP as well raising awareness to help inform individuals and families about managing their risk.

Thank you for standing with us on SUDEP Action Day. Your support is deeply appreciated.
