Jones' Story
My son Jones is a confident, outgoing and loving little boy. When he was seven years old, he had a seizure, out of the blue. Overnight, our world changed. We felt like our world was crashing down, we were so grateful to have a place like Epilepsy Action Australia there to support us. The Epilepsy Action nurses are angels.
It’s been very, very tough for Jones and there have been times when he has cried, “Why do I have to be the one to have epilepsy?” But he’s also been determined to help raise money for epilepsy. We are so proud of him.
Epilepsy can be an incredibly isolating journey. Knowing you care really does help. Even a small gift this Christmas can make a huge impact in the lives of families like ours. As Jones says, “Together we can make a big difference!”
